Four Packaging Lines Made in One Plant
Anti-static IC tubes, carrier tape and reel, cover tape and vacuum formed trays, plus the plugs pins and reels that go with them. All of it is made in-house, so the recommendation is not steered by what happens to be on the floor.

View DetailsWho Buys This Packaging
Component makers, IC distributors and the assembly plants that receive their parts. The buyer is usually the person who has to explain a jammed feeder or a failed incoming test.

Semiconductor And IC Distribution
IC distributors and semiconductor plants handle devices that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge, mechanical shock, and orientation changes during transit.
See Application
EMS And SMT Assembly
SEWATE supplies anti-static IC tubes and carrier tape systems used in EMS and SMT assembly lines for transporting components from vendor to machine and feeding them into automated pick and place systems.
See Application
Connectors Relays And Switches
Connectors, relays, terminal blocks, switches and power modules are too large or heavy for standard tape and reel packaging.
See Application
LED And Optoelectronics
SEWATE supplies anti-static carrier tape and reel, cover tape, and anti-static tubes for LEDs and optoelectronic devices, including modules, diodes, filters, relays, switches, fuses, transformers, magnetic components, and inductors.
See Application
Power Modules And Passive Components
Power modules, resistors, capacitors, inductors, magnetic components, fuses, filters, transformers, speakers, sockets, FPC, RJ and USB parts require packaging that protects against electrostatic discharge, mechanical shock, and environmental exposure during transit and storage.
See Application
Medical And Instrument Electronics
Medical and instrument electronics require packaging that maintains traceable fixed-count orientation, stable anti-static performance over long storage, and clear material declarations.
See ApplicationThe Damage Happens Between the Plant and the Placement Head
Electrostatic discharge, jamming, shingling, dust and drop damage all happen in transit and handling, where nobody is watching. Packaging is the only thing standing between the device and those four.
Static Damage Nobody Sees Until Test
Devices pick up charge in transit and manual handling. Anti-static is delivered by surface layer treatment or by additives built into the resin, specified against how long the parts sit in storage.
Parts That Stop Half Way Down the Tube
A profile that drifts across an extrusion run binds on the device. Critical dimension control within 5 mils on PVC, and plus minus 2 mils on polycarbonate, keeps the part sliding the full length.
Bulk Parts That Arrive Facing Anywhere
Loose packing costs operator time before the build even starts. Tubes and carrier tape both hold fixed orientation so parts load into feeders unattended.
Cracked Tubes and Spilled Cartons
Wall thickness from 0.30mm to 1.85mm is chosen against the drop and crush the shipment will actually see, with impact strength that keeps tubes crack free.
A New Package With No Stock Profile
Over a thousand open tools already exist. When none of them fits, tooling is cut from your drawing, your sample or the physical component itself.
Second Lot That Behaves Differently
Repeat orders run against the tooling and specification already approved, on a 5-15 day lead time, so the receiving line does not have to be re-tuned.
Why Buyers Keep the Tooling Here
Because the profile holds across the run, the tooling stays available for repeat orders, and the engineering answer comes back within a day rather than after a week of forwarded emails.

Where Buyers Get Stuck and How the Work Is Organised
Three routes through the same plant, depending on whether you are tooling a new profile, choosing a format, or running a tape programme.

Custom Tube Tooling
Extruded tube tooling has to be designed and manufactured around the shape of the extrusion, which is why a new profile is never an off-the-shelf item.

Factors Affecting IC Tube Appearance
A tube's appearance affects the buyer's perception of quality, even though it does not impact function.
Read GuideQuestions Buyers Ask Before the First Order
What does SEWATE actually manufacture?
Anti-static IC shipping tubes, embossed and paper carrier tape, cover tape, plastic reels, vacuum formed trays, and the plastic pins nails caps and rubber end plugs that close the tubes. All of it is made in-house.
What is the minimum order quantity?
10000 pieces on standard tube profiles. Extrusion changeover is the reason: a run has to be long enough to pay for the setup. Carrier tape and other lines are quoted per specification.
How fast can you ship?
Samples in 3-5 days. Stock profiles in 5-15 days depending on quantity. New custom tooling is 25-day ARO at the low end, typically 4-6 weeks, and 10-12 weeks for complex tools or high volume.
Which materials do you extrude?
PVC, PS or HIPS, PC, PETG and ABS. PVC is the usual default for strength stability and long storage. HIPS is halogen free and lower cost but more brittle. PC holds the tightest tolerance.
What certification do you hold?
Products are RoHS compliant and the quality management system is ISO14001. All products meet the Sony environmental protection requirement, and PS and ABS material test reports are available.
Do you handle small orders?
Small and large orders both get attention, subject to the tube MOQ. The group stocks hundreds of packaging solutions, so a stock profile is often the fastest route for a small quantity.
How do I get a quotation?
Send one of: a drawing of the tube, a drawing of the device that goes into it, or a sample tube. With none of those, send the physical component so the profile can be measured from it.
Where do you ship from?
Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Packing is in cartons or to your requirement, and payment terms are T/T or L/C.
Send the Device and the Packaging Question Answers Itself
A drawing, a sample tube or the physical component is enough to start. Sales and engineering come back within 24 hours with a format, a material and a lead time.
