A machine does not stop being useful when the parts programme behind it ends. Plenty of presses, winches and drill rigs from the nineteen eighties are still doing exactly what they were bought to do. The problem is not the machine, it is that nobody will sell you a cylinder block for it any more. That is a large part of what we do.
From Enquiry To Delivery
Each stage exists because something goes wrong when it is skipped.
- Send what you haveA model code, a photograph, an old part number or the part itself. Any one of them is a starting point.
- Identify the frameWe match it against the families we already machine, which covers most of the common industrial and mobile pumps.
- Confirm or measureIf it is a frame we hold drawings for, we quote from the drawing. If not, we measure a sample and produce a drawing for your approval.
- Approve the drawingNothing is machined until the drawing and the material specification are agreed.
- First articleOn a new part we make one, inspect it and report the results before running the batch.
- Batch and stockOnce the part is proven we can hold it in stock so the second order is quicker than the first.
