Product Overview
The V series is the balanced vane pump most often found on presses, injection moulding machines and mobile power packs built from the nineteen seventies onward. We build the complete pump and every wear part inside it, in single frames from 20V to 45V and double frames from 2520V through 4535V. Because the housing, mounting flange and shaft end follow the original pattern, the pump bolts onto the existing bracket and couples to the existing drive without any change to the circuit.

Manufacturing Process
- Turning and millingBlanks are turned and milled from certified bar and forging stock on CNC machines.
- Heat treatmentCarburising, quenching, tempering or nitriding to the route the original part uses.
- GrindingBores, spline seats and running faces are ground after heat treatment so distortion is removed.
- Lapping and superfinishingValve plates, shoe faces and block faces are lapped so the pair seals under pressure.
- InspectionDimensions, hardness and surface finish are recorded against the drawing on a sampling plan.
- Assembly and testComplete pumps are built, run in and tested for efficiency, leakage and noise before packing.
Quality Control
- Incoming material certificates are checked against the grade called for on the drawing.
- Hardness is measured after heat treatment on every batch and recorded on the batch card.
- Critical bores and running faces are gauged against the drawing tolerance, not against a sample part.
- Mating parts are matched as a set so the block, shoes and valve plate run in together.
- Rebuilt pumps are bench tested for volumetric efficiency, external leakage and sound level.
- Parts are cleaned, oiled and vacuum sealed so they arrive without surface rust.

Use Guide
- Read the full model code from the nameplate or the machined pad on the housing.
- Flush the reservoir and change the return and pressure filters before fitting.
- Check shaft alignment and coupling gap against the drive so no side load is carried by the shaft.
- Fill the pump case with clean oil and turn the shaft by hand before starting.
- Start at low pressure, bleed the circuit, then raise pressure in steps and check for leaks.

Can I fit a V series cartridge kit without removing the pump from the machine?
On most installations yes. The cover comes off and the cartridge lifts out once the pump is drained. We still recommend flushing the reservoir and changing filters at the same time, because the debris that killed the first cartridge is still in the oil.
Do you supply the complete pump or only the parts?
Both. You can order a complete single or double pump, a matched cartridge kit, or an individual shaft, seal, cover or body part.
Which frame sizes do you keep on the shelf?
The 20V, 25V, 35V and 45V single frames and the common double combinations are normally in stock. Rarer combinations are built to order.
Is the shaft the same as the original?
The shaft end is made to the original pattern, keyed or splined, so it fits the existing coupling. Send a photograph if you are not sure which end you have.
What warranty comes with the pump?
Twelve months, the same term the original part carries.
