Vane Pump Cartridge Kits and Replacement Parts

A cartridge kit is the whole wearing group of a vane pump supplied as one assembled part. Fitting one takes an hour or two, needs no change to the pipework or the coupling, and returns the pump to its original flow. What is inside a cartridge kit?
Rotor, cam ring, vanes, port plate, pressure plate and pins, supplied assembled. Cartridge seals are included.
Does a kit include the shaft seal?
Cartridge seals are included. The shaft seal kit is a separate low cost item and we recommend adding it.
Can a kit be fitted with the pump still on the machine?
Usually yes if there is room to remove the cover. Otherwise take the pump to a clean bench.
How do I choose the right kit?
The displacement digits in the pump model code identify the kit. Send a photograph of the nameplate and we will read it.
Why did my last cartridge fail early?
Almost always fluid contamination or a restricted suction line. Change filters and check the strainer when you fit a new kit.
