Stocking Cartridge Kit Programme for a German Distributor
A German hydraulic distributor built a private label vane pump cartridge kit range covering the V VQ and T6 frames its local industry uses.
Client Background
A regional hydraulic distributor in Germany supplying presses, moulding machines and municipal vehicle workshops. It carries seals, hoses and fittings from stock and had been ordering pump parts as needed.
Project Challenge
Customers asked for vane pump cartridge kits regularly, but the distributor had no stock and every enquiry became a special order with a lead time. Enquiries were going elsewhere.

Our Solution
We agreed a range covering the V and VQ single and double frames the local industry uses most, together with the T6 frames for the municipal vehicle side. The kits carry the distributor's own part numbers and packing. The specification for each kit was locked at the start so later batches match the first.
Manufacturing Process
Rotors were ground on the vane slots after heat treatment, cam rings profile ground, and each cartridge assembled and matched before packing. Kits were laser marked with the distributor's part number.
Supply Chain Coordination
An opening order by sea covered the agreed range. Replenishment runs against a call off schedule with agreed quantities held here so the distributor is not carrying the whole range in Germany.
Quality Control
First article samples from each frame were inspected and reported before the opening batch was produced. Batch records are kept so a question about an older shipment can still be answered.
Final Result
The distributor now quotes cartridge kits from stock instead of quoting a lead time, and the range sits under its own brand alongside the seals and fittings it already sells.
