Product Overview

The crinkle paper made by this machine is an environmentally friendly decorative shock-proof filling material. It is used to fill gift boxes, glass bottle and wine packaging, electronic product boxes and ceramic or glass shipments, and it has become a popular method of candy packaging. The machine feeds from paper in roll form, cuts and shreds automatically, and can run one, three or five layers at once so the finished strips come out in one, two or three colours.

Manufacturing And Quality

The machine is built at our workshop in Ruian, Zhejiang. UDEM has issued CE attestations of conformity to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for our honeycomb paper making machine, bag making machine and paper folding machine, referencing EN ISO 12100:2010 and EN 60204-1:2018. A demo machine is kept running in the workshop so the build can be shown and installation supported by video call.

Customization

We have engineers who develop new machine functions to customer requirements, and where the current machine cannot meet a requirement we supply a solution instead. Several machines in this range started exactly that way.

Compared With Our Other Machines

Every other machine in our range produces a continuous web or a formed pad. This one produces loose strips, so it answers a different packing problem: filling the space around an item in a gift or retail box rather than wrapping the item itself. It is also the only machine rated in kg per hour rather than metres per minute.

Use Guide

Choose the feed first: 1-2 rolls at 70 g, 3 rolls at 50-60 g, or 5 rolls at 20-30 g for the lightest multi-colour fill. Set the cutting length between 120 and 380 mm for the box you are filling. Run at 0.6-0.7 m/s and expect about 100-120 kg/hour. Changing strip width away from 3 mm needs a module change.
