Product Overview

This machine was designed to a customer requirement for flame resistant and flame retardant paper. After die cutting and stitching online, the finished roll is used as filter material. The frame is longer between the die cutting module and the rewinding device than on a packaging honeycomb machine, which leaves room for the customer to add a stitching or sewing machine in the process. The same line still makes ordinary honeycomb and mesh paper for packaging when the die is changed.

Manufacturing And Quality

The machine is built at our workshop in Ruian, Zhejiang. UDEM has issued CE attestations of conformity to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for our honeycomb paper making machine, bag making machine and paper folding machine, referencing EN ISO 12100:2010 and EN 60204-1:2018. A demo machine is kept running in the workshop so the build can be shown and installation supported by video call.

Customization

We have engineers who develop new machine functions to customer requirements, and where the current machine cannot meet a requirement we supply a solution instead. Several machines in this range started exactly that way.

Compared With Our Other Machines

Compared with the EM-PH600 honeycomb machines, this one is wider at 700 mm but slower at 100 m/min, because filter stock is run for stitching rather than for roll output. It is also 600 mm longer in the frame to open the stitching gap, and it rewinds to 600 mm on flame retardant paper where the packaging machines stop at 300 mm.

Use Guide

Fit the die for the pattern you need, honeycomb for packaging or the filter pattern for flame retardant stock. When making filter paper, install the stitching or sewing machine in the gap between the die cutting module and the rewinder before threading the web. Set the rewind limit to 600 mm for flame retardant rolls and 300 mm for packaging rolls.
