Product Overview
The EM-PH600 is the economy version of our honeycomb paper line. It unwinds a kraft reel, die cuts the honeycomb pattern and rewinds the finished web in a single pass, running any paper from 70 g to 100 g at up to 200 m/min. Roll changes are handled manually, which is what keeps the machine cheaper than the two automatic versions while the forming speed stays identical at 200 m/min.

Manufacturing And Quality
The machine is built at our workshop in Ruian, Zhejiang. UDEM has issued CE attestations of conformity to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for our honeycomb paper making machine, bag making machine and paper folding machine, referencing EN ISO 12100:2010 and EN 60204-1:2018. A demo machine is kept running in the workshop so the build can be shown and installation supported by video call.
Customization
We have engineers who develop new machine functions to customer requirements, and where the current machine cannot meet a requirement we supply a solution instead. Several machines in this range started exactly that way.
Compared With Our Other Machines
Against the Automatic Kraft Honeycomb Paper Machine the forming speed is the same; what you give up is the inline automatic roll change and the five-shaft paper loader, so an operator has to stop the line to strip finished rolls. Against the Fire Resistant Filter Paper Making Machine the frame is shorter at 2600 mm because there is no gap left for an inline stitching station.
Use Guide
Load the mill reel on the 3 inch inflatable air shaft and let the ultrasonic web guide centre the web before starting. Set the target length on the meter counter so the line stops on its own. Keep tension on the magnetic powder brake low enough that the honeycomb cells stay open, then strip the finished roll off the 1.5 inch rewinding shaft and load the next core.

How does this differ from your automatic honeycomb machines
Speed is the same 200 m/min on all three versions. This one changes finished rolls by hand, the automatic versions change them inline.
