Product Overview

This version was designed to a customer requirement, and the difference from the older honeycomb paper making machine is the automatic finished-roll changing function inline. The paper loader carries five shafts for the machine to draw from, so finished rolls are changed without stopping to load a new core by hand. It saves time and labour, and it costs less than the full automatic machine that also pulls the finished shaft out of the paper core and applies the label.

Manufacturing And Quality

The machine is built at our workshop in Ruian, Zhejiang. UDEM has issued CE attestations of conformity to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for our honeycomb paper making machine, bag making machine and paper folding machine, referencing EN ISO 12100:2010 and EN 60204-1:2018. A demo machine is kept running in the workshop so the build can be shown and installation supported by video call.

We have engineers who develop new machine functions to customer requirements, and where the current machine cannot meet a requirement we supply a solution instead. Several machines in this range started exactly that way.

Compared With Our Other Machines

Three versions of this honeycomb machine exist and all three form at 200 m/min. The economy EM-PH600 changes rolls by hand. This one changes them automatically inline. The full automatic version adds pulling the finished shaft out of the paper core and applying the label, so no shaft has to be fed by hand at all, at a higher price.

Use Guide

Stage shafts in the five-shaft loader before the shift so the machine can keep changing without an operator. Set the meter counter to the roll length you sell, then let the automatic change cycle handle the cut and transfer. Strip completed rolls off the loader between changes rather than at the machine head.
