A machine roll is designed to run for a long time and be changed rarely. A manual roll has to be light enough for an operator to hold and walk with for a full shift. Those two requirements pull in opposite directions, which is why both formats exist.
For ventilated stretch film, machine rolls run 1300 m in the prestretchable grade and 3500 m in the prestretched grade, both weighing 11 kg. Manual rolls run 440 m and weigh 1.37 kg. For pallet netting, manual rolls run 500 m to 1000 m and automatic rolls run 3000 m to 4000 m. Manual and automatic use are both available.
Prestretchable film such as JMSH01 arrives unstretched at 25 microns and is elongated by your wrapper up to 230 percent. That gives high coverage per roll but depends on the machine being set correctly and consistently.
Prestretched film such as JMSH02 arrives already elongated at 8 microns. There is no prestretch decision to make on the line, so results vary less between operators and machines. It is also the only sensible grade for hand wrapping.
Pallet netting is supplied on a 3 inch or 2 inch inner core to your request. Confirm your wrapper mandrel before ordering. A roll that does not fit the mandrel cannot be run whatever else is right about it.
Ventilated film is 500 mm in the prestretchable grade and 430 mm in the prestretched grade. Netting comes in 30, 50 and 76 cm. Wider covers a tall load in fewer passes. Narrower is easier to control by hand and better for banding a top layer.

Load type, pallet size, weight, wrapper model and the temperature goods are wrapped at. A photo helps if the load is irregular.
