Pallet nets are knitted rather than cast as a sheet, so most of what covers the load is open space. Air moves through the pallet almost as freely as if it were unwrapped, which is why netting is the answer when a load has to be held and cooled at the same time.
Two grades are available. The standard net is 100 percent virgin HDPE and holds its shape at the tension you apply. The elastic net is 100 percent virgin MPE with a stretch rate of 15 to 50 percent determined by the weight of the load, so it recovers around the goods and keeps pulling in as the pallet settles.
Pallet nets can be customised to your request. Manual and automatic use are both available, with manual rolls of 500 m to 1000 m and automatic rolls of 3000 m to 4000 m.

Netting is specified where a film wrap would be either too closed or too rigid.

Netting has more open area and grips irregular loads better. Film gives a smoother surface, more dust protection and a tighter wrap on uniform cases. Sites with a mixed product range often use both.
