PE Coated ACP At A Glance
Polyester is the well-understood workhorse resin: easy to apply, available across a very wide colour range, and a fraction of the cost of a fluorocarbon system. On interior work — where there is no UV load to fight — it does everything PVDF does for a lot less money.
Outdoors the trade-off is real: in direct sun a standard polyester surface begins to chalk and fade after five to seven years. That makes PE the right answer for interiors, retail fit-outs, short-term outdoor signage and tight budgets, and the wrong answer for a permanent facade.

Can PE coated ACP be used outdoors?
For short-term outdoor work, yes. For a permanent facade, no — standard polyester begins to chalk and fade after five to seven years in direct sun. Specify PVDF for a permanent exterior.
What is the warranty?
5–10 years depending on use, with 10 years the standard interior position.
Is the core the same as PVDF panel?
Yes. Coating and core are separate choices: PE surface can be supplied on standard PE core or on B1 or A2 fire-rated core.
