Nacreous ACP At A Glance
Nacreous coatings put a pearl sheen into the colour. Rather than shifting hue with angle the way a spectra finish does, the surface changes in brightness and depth as light moves across it — closer to the way mother-of-pearl behaves.
It suits large flat planes, where a plain solid colour would look dead and a full colour shift would be too much.

What is the difference between nacreous and spectra?
Nacreous adds a pearl sheen — the surface changes in brightness and depth. Spectra changes hue with the viewing angle. Nacreous is the subtler of the two.
Is nacreous available for exterior use?
Yes, in an exterior coating system. Tell us the location and exposure and we will specify.
Can you match a pearl colour we already have?
Send a physical sample of at least 50 × 50 mm. Our lab produces a lab-dip within about five days for approval.
