A mirror finish is a bright non directional surface polished with a 1000 grit abrasive belt and then buffed. EN 10088-2 classifies it as a 2P surface finish and ASTM A480/A480M as the No.8 finish, both achieved by mechanical polishing with successively finer abrasives. The surface is highly reflective with a high degree of image clarity, and very faint buffing or polishing lines may still be visible on the finished sheet.

Use Guide
- Name EN 10088-2 2P or ASTM A480 No.8 on the order rather than the word mirror alone
- Leave the protective film in place until the installation is complete
- Expect very faint buffing lines to remain visible, as this is normal for a No.8 finish
- Blend any site rework back with successively finer abrasives to match the surrounding surface
