A rail rebuild done one part at a time almost always disappoints. New pin plates on a stretched chain still let the fabric slip. A new chain on worn holders still lets the plates tilt. We quote the whole pin side as one package so the parts are matched to each other, they come from one production batch, and they arrive in one shipment.

Nothing here is a black box. If a stage does not apply to your machine we say so and take it out of the quotation.
Assess
Measure the chain pitch over ten links, check the holders for play at the chain seat, and look at pin height along the rail. Send us the numbers and photos.
Specify
We work out what actually needs replacing. Often that is chain plus holders, with plates still serviceable, or the reverse.
Match
Every part is confirmed against a sample or a measured photo before production starts. Nothing is guessed from a machine model.
Produce
Parts made in matched sets from one batch so pin height, clip grip and chain pitch are identical along the whole rail.
Pack
Packed by rail side so the two sides do not get mixed on site, with joining links counted against your rail length.
Ship
One consignment, one set of documents, one arrival date to plan the shutdown around.
Fit
Replace both rails together so fabric tension stays even across the width, then turn the chain by hand for a full pass.
Service
Clean the guide and the chain at least once a year and re-grease with DuPont, Miller or Kluber grade.

How do I know whether to replace the chain or just the plates?
Measure the chain pitch over ten links against a new section. If the pitch has grown and the take-up is at its limit, the chain needs replacing and new plates alone will not restore fabric tension.
Can you quote a whole rail from photos?
Yes. Send the rail length, the chain pitch and photos of the plate, holder and clip with a ruler across the mountings.
Do I have to do both rails?
We strongly recommend it. Replacing one side only leaves the fabric under uneven tension across the width.
How long does a full rail package take?
Longer than the 7 days we quote for standard lines. We confirm the date with the quotation so you can plan the shutdown.
