What This Solution Covers
A stenter is set up around the fabric it was bought for. When the order book moves, the machine often cannot follow. Customising the chain is the cheapest way to change that: by replacing the chain, the machine can work for other types of fabric. That covers moving between pin and clip holding, changing slider material for a different line speed, and changing bush specification for a different chamber temperature.

Nothing here is a black box. If a stage does not apply to your machine we say so and take it out of the quotation.
Define the new work
Tell us the fabric, the width, the line speed and the chamber temperature you want to run.
Review the machine
Send a sample chain link and photos of the rail, plates or clips currently fitted.
Choose the holding method
Pins for higher tension and faster running; clips for a flat unmarked edge on thicker wovens; a double use clip if you need both.
Choose the wear surfaces
Copper sliders for high load, PEEK for lighter running at speed. PEEK bush with dust cover where the mill runs dusty.
Build
Chain made to the specification, cut to rail length with joining links counted in.
Fit and prove
Replace both rails together, turn by hand for a full pass, then run a trial length before committing production.

Can changing the chain really let me run different fabric?
Yes, within limits. By replacing the chain the machine can work for other types of fabric. Tell us the fabric and the speed you want and we will tell you honestly whether the chain is the constraint.
Can one machine run both pins and clips?
With a clip and pin double use clip, yes. We make one for Monforts frames.
How do I choose between copper and PEEK sliders?
Copper carries higher load, PEEK runs lighter and quieter. Heavy fabric at high tension favours copper; lighter goods at speed favour PEEK.
Do you quote this as a project or as parts?
As a package. Chain, plates or clips and the wear parts are specified together so they suit the new work.
