Do I need a web guider or an uncurler?
An uncurler opens a curled edge flat. A guider holds the opened edge in the right lateral position. Lines running curling knits usually need both.
Is there a lower cost alternative?
Yes. Our flat nylon uncurlers and three and four finger uncurlers are passive devices and cost far less, but they suit lighter curl.
