What is included in a complete chain?
The assembly consists of connectors, U-shaped connectors, pins, PEEK bush, PEEK dust cover, screws and wear sleeves. We also sell each of those parts on its own.
How often should the chain be serviced?
Clean the guide and the chain at least once a year and add high-temperature grease. DuPont, Miller and Kluber grades are the ones our customers use.
How do I know the chain is stretched?
Measure the pitch over ten links and compare it against a new section. Once the take-up has run out of adjustment, the chain needs replacing.
Can I replace one rail only?
We do not recommend it. Replacing one side leaves the fabric under uneven tension across the width.
