Running the Machine
Step 1
Connect the supply and confirm both the hydraulic pump and the gearbox motor run correctly
Step 2
Deflate the tyre fully and remove the valve core before touching the bead
Step 3
Clamp the rim in the chuck, using the self-centring chuck where fitted, and check it is secure
Step 4
Fit alloy rim protection rings where the rim finish has to be preserved
Step 5
Break both beads with the hydraulic bead breaker working progressively around the wheel
Step 6
Lubricate the beads and demount the tyre with the mounting tool while the chuck rotates
Step 7
Mount the new tyre with the lower bead in the drop centre, then inflate in a cage to working pressure
