How is the connector sealed?
Glued and fitted with a rubber ring, tested to IP65. That joint is where cheap string fails first, which is why the automated line spends its time there.
What is the maximum run from one cord?
200 m. Past that you need a second feed.
Is it suitable for permanent installation?
Yes, and it is built to CE, RoHS and REACH requirements. Check the fixing rather than the cable for a permanent run.
