Rope Light Questions
How tight a radius can rope light take?
The LED body is built so the connecting wire stays freely flexible, and every roll is bend tested. For very tight lettering radii, tell us at order stage.
What voltage and length do rolls come in?
100 m per roll as standard in 220 V or 110 V, with 3600 LEDs per roll. Other lengths are available.
Why does cheap rope light flicker?
Usually the solder joints. We use a specific soldering material and technique for this, then bend test the roll to find any joint that is going to fail.
Is it suitable for permanent outdoor use?
Yes, for indoor and outdoor decoration. The waterproofing covers the power cord, the AC/DC converter, the end cap and the connectors, not just the sheath.
