Which cable colour should we stock?
Whatever disappears against your usual backdrops. Clear and white for light drapes, black and dark green for foliage and dark sets. It is the single biggest difference in how lighting photographs.
How fast can a curtain be rigged?
It depends on the header. Order the harness with fixing points matched to your truss or grid and you cut most of the rigging time.
Can we programme a reveal?
Yes, with the pixel and DMX512 products. They take an SD card controller for offline playback, so you do not need a laptop on site.
Is rubber cable worth the extra cost?
For hire stock, yes. It handles repeated coiling and cold far better than PVC, and connector failure from handling is the usual reason event stock is written off.
