Questions
Smart String Light Questions
Does it work with our existing DMX console?
It follows the international DMX512 protocol, so it drops into a standard rig. It can also run from an SD card controller offline or from a computer.
Can it display video and text?
Yes — text, pattern and video, because every LED is a separate pixel. Resolution depends on pixel pitch, so tell us the viewing distance.
What control modes are available?
Monochrome steady effect, synchronous RGB change, externally controlled RGB full colour, and DMX512. Online and synchronised, or offline and standalone.
Is it really usable outdoors?
It is built to IP65. Pixel products are often indoor-only, so this is the point of difference — check the controller enclosure position with us at layout stage.
