How much food waste can a household composter take?
TMK household composters handle roughly 1 to 5 kg of food waste per day depending on the model.
How often do I empty it?
With an 80 to 90% reduction rate, compost usually needs removing on a weekly basis.
Can the compost go straight onto plants?
The output is concentrated, so mix it with soil at about one part compost to ten parts soil, or cure it for a few weeks first.
Do I need to add microbes regularly?
On the TMK-5 the microorganisms are added once and then replicate themselves. On the TMK-2 the bacteria pack is added once a year.
