What TMK Does

TMK builds organic composting machines that convert food waste into bio-fertilizer and planting media. The machines are built on the principle of continuous active composting, and are designed to be compact, safe and easy to handle. Waste management has been practised since the beginning of civilisation, but it lost participation from people because the process was painstaking. TMK's aim is to remove that friction so organic waste stops being an unhygienic problem and starts being a resource.

Scale Of The Range

Composting machine models run from 1 kg to 5000 kg per day, which means TMK can supply customised food composting machines for both small and large-scale operations. The household line suits homes, coffee shops, schools and offices. The commercial line suits restaurants, hotels, canteens, hospitals and institutions. The Carbon Steel Series and large systems suit food processing facilities, municipalities and central collection sites.

As a social enterprise, TMK uses a percentage of profit from product sales for social work including tree plantation and installing street furniture.

Research And Development

TMK works with universities and government research institutes on food waste processing technology. R&D areas include improving decomposition efficiency through new bacterial systems capable of handling difficult food waste, comprehensive conversion and recycling of food waste, auxiliary facilities for systematic food waste management, and smart control systems that optimise running conditions to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.

TMK reports 850+ happy clients, 160+ projects completed and machines in 50+ countries. Dealers operate in Europe, Bangladesh, Chile, Peru and South Africa, and TMK has delivered turnkey projects including a 30 ton per day composting system in Liberia and large-scale set-ups in Southeast Asia.
