Personal care packaging is a visual product. A scuff, a colour shift or a crooked label is a customer complaint even when the pack functions perfectly.

What goes wrong in this sector

Shampoo, body wash and detergent bottles are decorated, often pearlescent or metallised, and sold on shelf appearance. The inspection problem is therefore both functional and cosmetic: neck and thread integrity on one hand, surface finish, print registration and colour consistency on the other.

Difficult surfaces are a lighting problem before they are an algorithm problem. Self-developed strobe light sources and integrated cavity illumination are specified against your actual bottles, which is what keeps glossy and metallised packs from producing constant false rejects.
