Customized 11 Camera AI-Powered PET Preform Vision Inspection System with Soft Dropping
Inspection Speed: 500~800pcs/min

The core machine in an automated preform quality line, sitting between the moulder and the blower where a bad preform is still cheap to remove.
A complete preform sorting line includes a dumper, preform storage, a lifting machine, a feeding machine, the inspection machine and a conveyor. Each producer chooses how much of that to automate, but the inspection machine is the part that cannot be left out, because it is the only station that makes a per-part accept or reject decision.
Preforms are handled and presented in an orderly stream to the inspection station. Customised LED light sources and industrial cameras capture high-pixel images, the KVIS-V16.0 AI system classifies each preform as OK or NG, and pneumatic components reject the failures online. Good preforms are counted and packed, or handed to the next stage.
Detected defects include black spots, cracks, thread damage, flash, short shot, injection gate faults and deformation, with full-area coverage rather than a single view. Operators can move the comparison standard themselves, so a plant running water preforms and a plant running hot-fill preforms can set different acceptance levels on the same machine.
Each entry carries the specification table and FAQ published for that configuration.

Yes. The system inspects appearance defects such as black spot, crack, deformation and injection gate faults. It is not a wall thickness or material analysis instrument.
The software exposes the sample comparison standard. Production staff on your site select the accuracy standard that suits the line, which is how you trade off scrap rate against escape rate.
The inspection and sorting system is the core machine and integrates with dumper, storage, lifting and feeding equipment. Tell us what you already have and we match the interface.
150 to 600 pieces per minute on the reference configuration. Larger preforms and tighter precision move that number down.
Preform types and photographs, the defect types with samples, whether inspection is targeted or full-area, the precision, inline or offline, and the speed required. Physical samples are needed for optical testing.
Send the part, the defect list, the speed and the precision. We image your real samples before we quote.
