Bottle and container visual inspection machines

For pharmaceutical, beverage and dairy bottle producers who cannot pass a black spot or a damaged neck finish to the filler.

What these systems do

Bottles are transparent, semi-transparent or opaque, they vary in shape across a single customer's range, and the critical defects sit in different planes: the neck finish and thread, the shoulder, the sidewall, the base and the parting line. That is why these systems are designed around the part rather than sold as a fixed model.

Typical detected defects are black spots, colour difference, impurities, thread damage, lifting and support rings, notches, deformation and dimension deviation. High-definition cameras and the self-developed AI cloud platform give 360-degree coverage; the algorithms are integrated with the hardware rather than bolted on, which is what keeps false rejects down on clear PET.

Maximum speed for in-line bottle inspection is around 300 pieces per minute, and the systems are used across pharmaceutical, beverage and dairy production. Configuration is chosen from your bottle material, shape and the defects you need caught, so the quality gate matches the cost you are trying to avoid.

Questions buyers ask about this family

Which bottle materials do you handle?

PE, PP and PET bottles and containers, transparent through to fully opaque. Material changes the lighting design because a clear body and a white body do not image the same way.

Can one machine inspect several bottle sizes?

Yes, within a range. Compatibility across outlines, colours and sizes is a design input, so tell us the full family you run and we size the handling and optics for it rather than for one SKU.

Inline or offline, which do I need?

Inline connects to your existing blow moulding or filling line and needs a material feeder integration. Offline runs as a standalone sorting station. Inline protects the filler; offline is easier to retrofit into a plant with no floor space at the moulder.

What speed can I expect?

Around 300 pieces per minute for in-line plastic bottle inspection. The real figure depends on bottle size, the number of views and the precision you set.

What happens to rejected bottles?

They are removed online by pneumatic rejection. Accepted bottles are counted and passed to the next stage or packaged directly.

Do you support the machine after installation?

One year warranty on the machine, three years on camera, lens and sensor, and 7x24 remote operation and maintenance through the AI cloud platform for as long as you run the line.
