Anhui Keye Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is a Chinese national high-tech enterprise specialising in the application of AI technology in the visual inspection industry.
Fourteen years in one industry
The company was founded in Hefei in 2011. Chairman Yan has described the arc plainly: it started as a small factory with twenty employees and has grown to over 200 people today.
Hefei matters to this story. It is a city dominated by AI and new energy, and the talent advantage of the University of Science and Technology of China gives us a research and development base across the full technology field. Our high-level R&D doctoral team comes from USTC and covers the entire technology chain of optics, electrics, mechanics, algorithm and software.
We were the earliest company in China to apply AI technology to the visual inspection industry, and the first to apply it in the plastic packaging industry, from 2020. By 2023 we had served more than 2000 customers across domestic and overseas markets.
In December the headquarters moved to a new building in the Hefei High-Tech Zone covering 29,000 square metres, with production and R&D buildings designed to international standards. The production workshop runs a 6S management system, and self-developed core components are produced in a dust-free room. The R&D building houses laboratories for optics, electronics and other fields.
Highly customised systems have been supplied to industry-leading clients including CATL lithium battery, Moutai wine bottle, Chemi-con capacitors and ALPLA bottle caps.

Who builds the machines
60-person R&D team
Optics, electrical, mechanical, algorithm and software, with core personnel who are senior PhDs from USTC. R&D accounts for more than 30% of headcount.
15-person AI algorithm team
More than half hold master's degrees. The team leader is Dr. Zheng Zhigang from USTC, with more than 20 years of experience in the optical field.
50+ service team
The people who commission machines on site and run the remote maintenance platform.
Self-developed hardware and software
