Solutions
From Requirement Analysis to Final Delivery
A casting project is not one decision, it is eight. This page sets out how each one is handled and what you get at the end of it.
- One project team from enquiry to shipment
- Process route confirmed in writing before tooling
- Stage inspection during production
- Export packing and documents prepared for your port

Solution Workflow
The Eight Stages of a Project
We always focus on the most suitable process for the customer product. Because there are many different processes, producing the same casting by a different process gives different advantages, so we analyse the part and the demand before we choose.
STEP 01
Requirement Analysis
We read the drawing against the duty. If a wear part is failing early, the first question is why it fails, not what it costs. If a new part is being developed, we ask what it has to survive.
STEP 02
Design and Process Review
Wall thickness, draft, parting line, machining stock and the number of separate parts all change the price. We come back with concrete suggestions, not just a number.
STEP 03
Material Selection
The grade is chosen against the duty and cross referenced to your local standard, so that the metal parts we supply meet the specification your customer expects.
STEP 04
Tooling and Sampling
Pattern, core box or die tooling is quoted separately and held for your repeat orders. The first article is measured and tested before the batch is released.
STEP 05
Production
Batch production with inspection at the important stages of the process. Likely problems are forecast and solutions agreed before they happen rather than after.
STEP 06
Quality Control
Composition, dimensions, mechanical properties and, where the drawing requires it, non destructive testing. The acceptance criteria are agreed in writing first.
STEP 07
Packing and Logistics
Export packing on fumigated pallets, in cases or in steel frames depending on weight and shape, marked with your part numbers, with the documents your customs needs.
STEP 08
After Sales
We ask what service life the parts achieved. That feedback is what lets us propose a grade or design change that actually improves the next batch.
Deliverables
What Each Stage Gives You
| Stage | What You Receive |
|---|---|
| Enquiry | Written process route, material grade proposal and price |
| Tooling | Tooling quotation, lead time and confirmation that tooling is held for reorders |
| First article | Dimensional report and, where required, composition and mechanical test results |
| Production | Stage inspection results and notification of any deviation before shipment |
| Shipment | Packing list, marking scheme, test reports and shipping documents |
| After sales | Review of service life feedback and improvement proposals |
Who It Is For
Where We Add the Most Value
Buyers replacing a failing wear part
You know the part fails early but not why. We look at the failure before we quote, which often changes what should be ordered.
Engineers developing a new part
We advise on geometry, wall thickness and process route so the first casting is producible rather than a redesign exercise.
Companies consolidating suppliers
Casting, forging, machining, heat treatment and surface finishing through one project team and one shipment.
FAQ
Questions About How We Work
Do you charge for the engineering review?
Can you take over a part from another supplier?
Who is my contact during a project?
What happens if a part fails in service?
Can you hold stock for scheduled maintenance?
Start With the Drawing
Send a 2D drawing, a 3D file or photographs of the worn part with the annual quantity. The written process route and price come back from the same team that will run the job.
