Questions About Machining Capability

What size parts can you machine?

From 10 mm to 5000 mm, and from 1 kg to 5000 kg.

Can you machine castings you did not produce?

Our machining is organised around the castings we supply, so that one supplier is responsible for both. Ask us about a machining only enquiry and we will tell you whether it fits the schedule.

What tolerance can you hold?

It depends on the feature, the material and the fixture. Mark the critical dimensions and the surface finish on the drawing and we will confirm what is achievable and what it costs.

Do you supply first article inspection reports?

Yes. First articles are measured, including on CMM or 3D scanner where the geometry requires it, and reported before the batch is released.

Can you supply finish machined and painted parts?

Yes. Machining, heat treatment, surface treatment and painting are all in the same supply chain, so parts can arrive ready to fit.
