What this family is for
Long wood screws fail at the drive long before they fail at the thread. A Phillips recess in a 200 mm timber screw will cam out under an impact driver; a Torx recess will not. The Ehons wood screw family is built around Torx and external hexagon drives in carbon and alloy steel, with grade classes from 4.6 to 10.9 and finishes from self colour through zinc plating to hot dip galvanising for external timber work.
