What this family is for
Machine screws go into a thread that already exists, which shifts the whole engineering question onto material grade, thread fit and finish. Ehons supplies them in M, UNC, UNF and BSW threads, in grade classes 4.6 through 10.9 including SAE J429 Gr.2, Gr.5 and Gr.8, with the same finish range as the rest of the catalogue so an assembly can be specified in one consistent coating.
