The control system
Ehons operates an internal quality control and inspection system established against international standards, and states that it runs an ISO 9001 quality guarantee system across production, transportation and selling. Independent verification of any certificate should be requested directly before it is relied on in a tender.
What gets checked
The stages below are the standard control points for cold-formed fasteners and correspond to the inspection stage shown on the factory pages; ask for the written control plan if you need it confirmed for your order. Wire material on receipt; dimensional checks on head, thread and point geometry through the heading and rolling stages; hardness and case depth after heat treatment; coating thickness and appearance after finishing; and packing counts and labelling before palletising.
Inspection equipment
The company states that it has advanced inspecting machines and methods and a trained inspection team. Third-party inspection before shipment is accepted and is common on first orders.
What to ask for with an order
State whether you need a material certificate, a coating thickness report, a torque or drive test result, or a dimensional report against a specific standard. These are produced against the order rather than held as stock documents.

- Custom and Non-Standard Fasteners – Standard and non-standard sizes are both made to order, so the drawing does not have to bend to a catalogue.
- Coatings and Corrosion Protection – The coating decides how long the fixing lasts. It is chosen from exposure, not from appearance.
- Bulk Supply and Lead Times – Capacity is about 2,000 tons a month across two factories, with a 500 kg minimum per item.
