Define the application
Material, machine, power, cut geometry, current tool life and the failure mode you want to fix. This is the whole basis of a bond recommendation.
Review the existing tool
Send the tool, its markings or a drawing. Matching fit and mounting is straightforward; matching behaviour is the engineering part.
Specify bond and geometry
Matrix hardness, diamond concentration and grit, segment height and profile, welding or brazing method.
Sample and trial
A sample batch for a production trial, with the trial parameters agreed in advance so the result means something.
Private label
Laser marking on the steel core with your artwork, and packaging to your specification.
Production and repeatability
Once a specification is signed off it becomes your item number, so repeat orders return the same tool.
Re-tipping programme
Loose segments for 200-3500 mm blades, gang saws and multi saws so your own service shop can rebuild cores.
