How do I keep dead legs short on a branch
Use a short outlet tee rather than a standard tee with a reducer, and orientate the branch so it drains toward the main line. Send us the line size and the instrument you are fitting and we will quote the shortest body that fits.
Can I get a reducing tee with a specific branch size
Yes. Give the run size and the branch size in the standard you work to, for example 2 inch run with 1 inch branch to BS4825, and we will confirm availability and dimensions before production.
Are the welds polished on the inside
Yes. Welded bodies are internally polished after welding to the finish stated on the order, Ra 0.8 um as standard.
