Can a sanitary check valve be cleaned in place
The middle clamp and union type bodies in this range open by releasing the clamp or union nut, so the internals can be inspected without cutting pipework. For a fully CIP-only regime, confirm your cleaning velocity with us and we will advise which body suits.
What cracking pressure do these valves have
Cracking pressure depends on the body style, spring and orientation. Tell us the line pressure, the flow rate and whether the valve is horizontal or vertical, and we will confirm the figure for the specific model before you order.
Ball type or disc type
Ball type handles viscous and particle bearing product better. Disc type gives a lower pressure drop on clean liquids. State the product and viscosity and we will recommend one.
