How do I size a bag or cartridge housing
Start from flow rate, viscosity, micron rating and how long you want to run between changes. Send those four figures and we will recommend a housing size and element count.
What is a duplex housing for
It holds two filter chambers with a changeover valve, so one side filters while the other is opened and re-elemented. Use it where stopping the line for a filter change is not acceptable.
Can the housings be cleaned in place
The housings use tri-clamp closures and hygienic internal finishes, and vent and drain connections are provided. Confirm your CIP chemistry and temperature and we will specify the seals to match.
