Every Stage and What Goes Wrong In It
Each stage below names the failure we see most often, then what we do about it.
Requirement
A component that does not exist as a catalogue item stalls a whole machine build.
Send a drawing, a sample or a marked-up photo. We confirm what is manufacturable and what has to change before quoting.
Drawing Confirmation
Verbal specifications turn into the wrong part.
Dimensions, material, finish and connection type are confirmed in writing, and standard dimensional drawings are available for reference.
Material
Material grade is assumed rather than specified and cannot be evidenced later.
AISI 304 and 316L as standard, with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates available on request.
Machining and Polishing
Outsourced polishing makes the finish inconsistent between batches.
Machining, polishing, assembly and inspection are done in house, to Ra 0.8 um as standard or Ra 0.6 and 0.4 um where specified.
Inspection
Faults found after installation are expensive to correct.
Quality inspection is part of the in-house process, before packing rather than after delivery.
Production Run
The prototype is right and the production batch is not.
The confirmed specification is held against the part number, so the repeat batch is produced to the same figures.

What buyers ask about this way of working.
What is your minimum order quantity
It depends on product type and standard. Small quantity orders of standard items are accepted. For custom items the quantity affects tooling and setup, so tell us the quantity with the drawing and we will quote it.
Can you make a non-standard size
Yes. Non-standard sizes, special connections and customised finishes are all part of what we do. Send the dimensions you need and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
How long does a custom part take
Standard products are typically 7-15 days. Custom and bulk orders depend on specification and quantity, and we confirm a date with the quotation rather than after the order.
