Stage By Stage

Where Orders Usually Break and What Is Done About It

Each stage names the problem first, because that is what the step exists to prevent, and then what actually happens.

Order Confirmation

Inspection requirements raised after production are expensive or impossible.

Test, examination and certificate requirements are captured on the order, before the line is scheduled.

In-Process Control

Defects found at the end of production are already sunk cost.

Products are produced and packed in accordance with the confirmed requirements rather than to a generic house standard.

Pre-Loading Inspection

Container doors closing is the last moment anything can be corrected.

All products are strictly tested for quality before packaging, and unqualified products are destroyed rather than shipped.

Third-Party Inspection

Buyers reasonably want evidence that is not written by the seller.

Third-party inspection is accepted as standard, arranged against your nominated agency.

Documentation

Goods arriving ahead of their paperwork sit at the port.

The product quality certificate is provided free once the purchase order is confirmed, and travels with the shipment.
