How much sanding can the face take?

Less than most factories assume. Tell us your sanding sequence and grit and we will specify the face accordingly.

Which species are cheapest?

Okoume, bintangor and poplar sit at the lower end; oak, ash and birch cost more. Because the face is a separate line item, you can change species without changing core or size.

Is the back veneered too?

It can be. A balancing veneer on the back is strongly recommended for anything that must stay flat.
