Galvanized steel sheet is welded steel plate carrying a hot-dip or electro-galvanized zinc layer, used widely in construction, home appliances, vehicles, boats, container manufacturing and the electro-mechanical industry.
The two coating routes behave differently. Electro-galvanized sheet is uniform grey with fingerprint resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and the formability of a cold rolled sheet. Hot-dip sheet is bright white with a visible spangle.
