Stenter Pin Plate for Monforts Pin Rails
This is our standard copper-body stenter pin plate for Monforts pin rails. The plate carries two rows of steel pins at 3 to 4 pins per cm, drops into the existing pin plate holder and takes over fabric gripping from the press wheel forward. It is the plate most of our mills reorder in full sets when a pin rail has run its life.

How long are the pins on this plate?
The pins stand about 5 mm proud of the base plate, in two rows at 3 to 4 pins per cm. That is the standard geometry for Monforts pin rails.
Will pin plates mark my fabric?
Pin stenters leave pinholes in the selvedge. That is normal and most mills accept it because the selvedge is trimmed. If the selvedge stays in the finished goods, use a clip rail instead.
