Ground tackle is bought as a set or it does not work as one: the anchor, the cable, the connecting links and the swivel all have to agree on size and grade. We supply the whole set, hall and AC-14 high holding power anchors, AM/U2 and AM/U3 stud link chain from 14mm to 80mm, and the shackles, swivels and connecting links that join them.

U2 or U3 chain?
U3 has a higher breaking load at the same diameter, so it lets you keep chain size and weight down. U2 is specified where the class requirement is met at that diameter and cost matters more.
How is anchor chain measured?
By the diameter of the round steel the link is made from. The connecting links and shackles are sized the same way, which is how a set stays compatible.
What is the difference between a hall anchor and an AC-14?
The AC-14 has a much wider crown and thicker, longer claws with longitudinal edges, so it holds more for its weight and class accepts it as high holding power.
Do you supply the swivel and end shackle?
Yes. Swivels, D type end shackles, kenter connecting links, enlarged links and open end links are all supplied to match the chain.
How does chain ship?
In ton bags, easy for a forklift to move, with the tension test certificate supplied against the order.
