A marine air compressor is specified by two numbers and one constraint: the flow you need in m3/h, the working pressure in MPa, and whether there is cooling water available where it has to sit. Get those right and the rest is paperwork. We build low, medium and high pressure piston compressors to those figures, in air cooled and water cooled form, with marine type approval.

Air cooled options
Air cooling removes the seawater connection entirely, which takes one hull penetration and one fouling problem out of the installation.

How do I size a starting air compressor?
Work from the receiver volume and the charging time class requires. That gives the free air delivery you need at your working pressure, which is the number to send us.
What is different about an emergency compressor?
It has to be independent of the main air system and it has to start after long periods idle. Reliability from cold matters more than duty cycle efficiency.
Air cooled or water cooled?
Air cooled is simpler and avoids a seawater connection, and suits small and medium duty. Water cooled is used where the heat load or the ambient temperature in the machinery space is high.
Do you supply spare parts with the unit?
Yes. Every compressor is delivered with the accessories and spares needed for the first service, including the pressure adjusting valve and piston spares.
How are compressors packed?
In a standard wooden box built so a forklift can move it, then loaded and fixed in the container by our own packing team.
