What to include in your enquiry
- Vessel type, displacement and the classification society, if the item is a class item
- For deck machinery: anchor chain diameter and grade, hawsepipe height above the waterline, required recovery speed
- For valves: size such as DN65 or DN100, the medium in the line, and hand, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic operation
- For compressors: required flow in m3/h and working pressure in MPa, and whether cooling water is available
- For doors and windows: opening sizes, hand, and the A60, A30, B15, B0 or C rating from the fire control plan
- For bearings: shaft diameter, stern tube bore, bearing length and the running clearance you want
