Tillers and Cultivators

Petrol and diesel soil working machines from mini cultivators to two wheel tractors.

Soil preparation machinery is bought on working width and working depth, and it is kept on the strength of the gearbox. This programme runs from small single axis cultivators that fit between polytunnel beds up to gear driven two wheel tractors that take mowers, ditchers, trailers and harvesting implements.

FAQ

Tillers and Cultivators Questions

Should I choose petrol or diesel?

Diesel machines generally give more pulling power for heavy or continuous work, petrol machines are lighter and simpler to start. Comparable frames are available with both in this range.

What working width do I need?

The working width has to clear your row or bed spacing without touching the crop. Start with the narrowest gap the machine has to pass and work back from there.

Is gear drive worth paying for over belt drive?

In heavy or stony soil a belt slips under load, which costs working depth and burns belts. Gear drive is the usual choice where the machine works hard all season.

Do you supply implements for the two wheel tractors?

Yes. Flail and sickle bar mowers, rotary lawn mowers, harvesters, ditchers, tillers and trailers are all in the agricultural machinery range.

Are tiller spare parts available?

Yes, as a catalogued range: gearboxes, blades, tyres, paddy wheels and drive parts.
