Agriculture and Horticulture
Soil working and mowing machinery sized to the row, the bed and the terrace.
Growers buy tillage machinery on two numbers, working width and working depth, and they keep it on the strength of the gearbox. Our cultivator and two wheel tractor programme runs from narrow bed machines for polytunnels up to gear driven carriers that take mowers, ditchers and harvesters.
Pain Points in This Sector
- A machine wider than the bed spacing damages crop on every single pass
- Belt drive slips under load in heavy or stony ground and burns through belts
- A carrier bought without implements is idle for most of the year
- Orchard and vineyard rows need clearing without damaging surface roots
What Buyers Actually Need
- A range of working widths rather than one compromise machine
- Petrol and diesel options on comparable frames
- Paddy wheels and implements for flooded or very soft ground
- Blades, gearboxes and drive parts available as spares
