Brushed metal looks at large sizes where the budget will not stretch to stainless. It sits in our retail and shopping malls work more often than anywhere else.
A three-metre stainless wordmark can be too heavy for the substrate it has to hang on, and too expensive for the budget. Aluminium weighs less, welds cleanly and takes powder coating, which is why it is the factory recommendation for big letters and for marine environments.
