A processing plant is bought as a list of machines but it is used as one line. When the tanks come from one supplier, the mixers from another and nobody owns the joints between them, the commissioning team inherits every gap. We assemble dairy and beverage packages as a single supply so that the vessels, the mixing equipment and the ancillary items are specified against each other before any of them is built.
Every stage below is a point where sourcing projects usually go wrong. This is what we do at each of them.
Problem: Plant enquiries often start as an equipment list copied from another project rather than from the product to be made.
We begin from the product and the batch size and rebuild the equipment list from there, which usually changes the vessel sizes before anything is priced.
Problem: Few Chinese factories genuinely build both large stainless vessels and precision mixing equipment to the same standard.
We split the package across the tank fabricators and the mixing specialists we already work with and keep the interface between them as our responsibility rather than yours.
Problem: Fittings finishes and connection heights are the details that get left to the factory and then do not match on site.
A common standard for connections and product contact finish is written across every item in the package before the first order is released.
Problem: You cannot sample a tank, so buyers commit to a vessel on the strength of a brochure.
Where the recipe is new the laboratory mixing equipment is used to prove the process first, and the full scale specification is written from that result.
Problem: Items in a package are built at different speeds and the slowest one quietly sets the shipping date.
We track every factory in the package against one schedule and tell you early which item is setting the date so the plan can be adjusted.
Problem: Internal welds and surface finish cannot be judged once a vessel is closed and crated.
Our team inspects during the build and photographs the internal finish before sealing so the evidence exists before the vessel leaves the shop.
Problem: Large vessels and small fittings shipped separately arrive weeks apart and commissioning stalls.
Fittings travel with the item they belong to and the whole package is consolidated under one packing list so nothing is stranded at the far end.
Problem: When a line is assembled from unrelated purchases no one supplier will take responsibility for how it runs.
We remain the single contact across every factory in the package and handle the follow up with each of them on your behalf.
One package where vessel and mixer specifications were written against each other
A process proven at laboratory scale before the full size vessel was ordered
Photographic evidence of internal finish taken before the vessels were closed
A single point of contact covering every factory in the plant supply
